ISPM 15 is the international phytosanitary standard that requires timber packaging to be heat-treated or fumigated before export, stamped, and documented. Get it wrong and the consignment is held at the border, treated at your cost, or sent back. Plastic pallets fall outside the standard entirely. There is nothing to treat, nothing to stamp and nothing for an inspector to query.

That removes a compliance step, a per-consignment cost and a delay risk from every shipment. It also removes the pest-carriage problem: plastic cannot host the borers and larvae that trigger quarantine inspection, and it will not absorb moisture, swell or grow mould through a humid container crossing.

On a one-way pallet, every kilogram of tare is money spent moving packaging rather than product. Across a full container the difference between a 7.5 kg pallet and a 17 kg pallet is real money on every sailing. The export range is built around that arithmetic: grill top decks remove material where it is not carrying load, and low 120 mm profiles return usable height at every level of a stacked container.

  • Outside ISPM 15, so no heat treatment, fumigation or treatment stamp
  • Tare from 6.4 kg, so freight spend goes on product rather than packaging
  • Low 120 mm profiles recover usable height in a stacked container
  • Four-way forklift and jack entry, so any destination warehouse can handle them
  • Non-absorbent through humid crossings, with no swelling, mould or pest carriage

The 1200 x 1000 mm footprint is the international shipping standard and stows efficiently in 20ft and 40ft containers. The square 1100 x 1100 mm is the workhorse for Australia and New Zealand freight and removes orientation decisions at the dock. The 1140 x 1140 mm sits 25 mm under the Australian standard on each side, which gives working clearance against container walls while still handling like a familiar square pallet. For European lanes, the 1200 x 800 mm Euro footprint is the one your buyer will specify.

Two of the export lines carry a 600 kg beam racking rating, which means goods arriving on them can go straight into light racking rather than being transferred onto a second pallet. The nestable pallet is the lightest at 6.4 kg and stacks inside itself when empty, which is the cheapest option where empties travel back.

ISPM 15 regulates timber packaging only, so plastic pallets fall outside the standard entirely. No heat treatment, no fumigation and no treatment stamp is required, and consignments are not held at destination ports over pallet treatment.

The 1200 x 800 mm Euro footprint is the standard across Europe and is what most European buyers specify. The 1200 x 1000 mm international footprint is also widely accepted across European, Asian and North American lanes.

Two of the 1.2t lines carry a published 600 kg beam racking rating, so goods can go straight into light racking without transfer. The lighter one-way pallets are published as racking N/A and must not be placed in racking.

The nestable export pallet at 6.4 kg is the lightest in the range, and it stacks inside itself when empty, so it is also the cheapest to store and return. Its dynamic rating is 600 kg, so check your load weight before specifying it.

Yes. Plastic does not absorb moisture, so it will not swell, warp or grow mould in a humid container, and it cannot carry the timber pests that trigger quarantine inspection at the destination.
